How to Install Trex Iptv on Any Device

Got a Firestick, Android box, Samsung TV, iPhone or MAG? Here's the 4-minute setup. No tech skills needed.

Turn on apps from unknown sources

On your Firestick remote, head to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Install Unknown Apps. Flip the toggle for Downloader to ON. You only do this once.

Install the free Downloader app

From the Firestick home screen search for Downloader (the orange icon by AFTVnews). Install it. It's free and takes about 20 seconds.

Type the Trex Iptv apk URL

Open the TV app store

On Samsung that's the Apps tile on the home row. On LG it's the LG Content Store. Search for Smart IPTV or IPTV Smarters.

Install the player. Inside Smart IPTV it'll show you a MAC address — write it down. You'll paste it on the Smart IPTV portal once.

Add your playlist URL

Send us the MAC on WhatsApp and we'll attach your Trex Iptv playlist to it. Restart the app — your channels load automatically.

Trex Iptv on iPhone, iPad & Apple TV (iOS setup)

Apple's App Store doesn't allow third-party apk files, so on iOS you use an off-the-shelf player and feed it your Trex Iptv playlist. Setup is 90 seconds.

Install a free IPTV player

Open the App Store and grab GSE Smart IPTV or IPTV Smarters Pro. Both free, both fine. We slightly prefer GSE for iPad.

Add playlist via URL

Open the app, choose Add Playlist → Add via URL, and paste the M3U link from your welcome email.

Watch

Channels populate in a few seconds. AirPlay to your Apple TV from the same app if you want it on the big screen.

Trex Iptv on MAG Box (Infomir 254, 322, 420w & up)

MAG boxes are the cleanest dedicated IPTV hardware out there. No apk, no app store — you give us the MAC address printed on the bottom of the box and we provision the portal. Done in a couple of minutes.

Flip the box over

Find the MAC address sticker (looks like 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX). Take a photo with your phone.

WhatsApp the photo. We add your MAG to the portal in under five minutes.

Reboot and watch

Unplug the MAG, plug it back in, hit OK on the portal screen. Channels load and you're live.

Same flow works on Formuler Z8/Z11 and other STBs that support portal URLs.

Trex Iptv on Windows & Mac

If you want to watch on your laptop or run it through HDMI to a projector, VLC is the no-fuss option. There's also a Windows version of IPTV Smarters if you want a proper grid guide.

Grab VLC (free)

Download VLC Media Player from videolan.org. It's free, no ads, runs on Windows, Mac and Linux.

Open Network Stream

In VLC: Media → Open Network Stream (or File → Open Network on Mac). Paste your M3U URL.

Press play

VLC plays the playlist straight away. For a nicer guide-style layout, install IPTV Smarters for Windows instead and add the same URL.

Trex Iptv on Apple TV (tvOS 4K)

Apple TV 4K runs a stripped-down version of the App Store. Grab a player and add your playlist — three minutes start to finish.

From the Apple TV App Store install iPlayTV (paid, very polished) or IPTV Smarters Pro (free).
